Once I graduated from law school, I began practicing as a general civil litigator for a firm in Silicon Valley, California. Without necessarily intending to, I worked on many probate cases and soon came to realize that many of the problems people were encountering—including courtroom battles and litigation—could have easily been prevented through proper estate planning. With this realization came a budding interest in estate planning, so I began focusing more of my efforts in the area. As of today, roughly two thirds of my practice is dedicated to estate planning, and the other third is dedicated to probate cases.
